Butter Cookies

pair Butter Cookies – Crunchy type Ingredients:-

100g Butter (salted)

40g Icing sugar

Pinch of salt (can omit if prefer less salty)

1 egg yolk (about 20g)

125g cake flour bakingsheet Method:

1. Cream butter with sugar until smooth (about a minute will do).

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with a spatula until dough forms.

3. Place into piping bag with nozzle and pipe out your cookies.

4. Bake at 170C for 15-20 minutes or until the bottom is slightly brown.

5. Cool completely before storing in air tight container. solo2 bakingsheet

    Flour in its recipe means cake flour…Or special soften cake flour Or all purposed flour. Thanks 🙂

      Hi Yuwadee, I used cookies flour bought from my supplier here. Can use cake flour too or even all purpose because I don’t think it’s crucial.

    Can I use sugar instead of icing sugar.

      No Amanda, if you use sugar, you will be able to taste the sugar. Moreover, icing sugar has some cornflour in it so it acts as a binding agent as well.
