  1. My favourite too Jeannie. Yours always look so so beautiful and tempting. Somehow the top of my sponge still didn’t stay like a slight dome although it didn’t crack. I noticed that once I turned down the temperature to 100 degrees, it started to flatten a bit. What if I leave the temperature at 140 deg until the end?

shouldn’t be a problem if it’s not cracking. It will flatten slightly when cooled, look at mine:D flat too!

Hi jeannie! I’ve wanted to try your sponge cake recipe for AGES but didn’t get to do it because i only have a toaster oven. Do you think a toaster oven would work? Please say it will!😉

You can try, but I wouldn’t put my bet on it:) Invest in a cheap oven; I have seen beautiful cakes being baked from cheaper ovens.
