Greentea Butter Cake



250g unsalted Butter
200g Castor Sugar
250g Eggs (without shell)
110g Plain Flour
150g Self raising flour
1/2 tsp Salt
140g liquid Milk
25g oil
1 tsp Vanilla extract
20g Greentea Powder (use a good brand for better colour)


Preheat oven to 170C. Greased and flour or line a loaf pan (8 x 5 x 4″).

1. Cream room temperature butter, oil and sugar until creamy. Slowly add in lightly beaten mixture of eggs and vanilla extract.
2. Alternately add in sifted flours/greentea/salt mixture and milk and mix until well incorporated.
3. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes at 170C until golden brown.
